The Cimafrú® brand was founded in 1957 by Mr. Francisco Ponce who developed our line of dried and dehydrated food products for the domestic and international markets.

Our family has been in this industry sector for more than 50 years, which makes us pioneers and the oldest registered trademark in this field in our country.

We are producers, dehydrators and exporters of dried and dehydrated fruits from Argentina. Our complete line of products is made up of plums, apricots, pears, peaches and tomatoes.

We export to markets in Australia, North America, the European Economic Community, Russia, Latin America and Africa. We also supply the domestic market in Argentina with selected, top-quality products.

TRador S.A.

Currently, TRADOR S. A. is the member company whose main objective is both, to develop the group’s industrial activities to produce our complete line of dried food products under the Cimafrú® brand, as well as to channel commercial operations in the domestic market. It is made up of a processing plant located in Bowen, Mendoza for drying and packaging; and 10 hectares of beaches for solar drying. It is also where the group’s main activities are developed. Frutos de Bowen S. A. is the newest member of our business group. Since December 1, 2007, Frutos de Bowen S. A. has channeled and is responsible for the exports of our complete line of dried products under the Cimafrú® brand to the international market. We believe that the inclusion of this new company in our commercial structure is the appropriate tool to maintain our family’s trajectory in this business, as well as to optimize logistics, customer service and the marketing of new products and services. Francisco Ponce, a young and enthusiastic producer, founded FRANCISCO PONCE Y CIA. to develop our family’s industrial and commercial activities, thus becoming a pioneer company in the agro-industrial sector in the south of the Province of Mendoza, Argentina.
